Life

SUNLIGHT THAT SHATTERS ON RIPPLING STREAMS,
LIKE A THOUSAND BROKEN DREAMS.
A WHIRLPOOL SPINNING ROUND AND ROUND,
A MOUTH THATS OPEN BUT NEVER A SOUND.
THE GENTLE BREEZE THAT SHAKES THE LEAVES,
A WANDERING SOUL THAT NO ONE GRIEVES.

CARES AND TROUBLES IN OUR WAY,
JUST LIKE RAIN ON A SUMMERS DAY.
ALL THE PLANS THAT GO AWRY,
THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO SIT AND CRY.
CARES AND WORRIES THAT DO ABOUND,
IS THERE A SOLUTION TO BE FOUND.

BUT, STOP A WHILE, LOOK AROUND,
AND KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE GROUND.
SUNLIGHT STREAMING THROUGH A WINDOW BRIGHT,
SHOW US THINGS IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT.
LIFE IS CRAZY, LIFE IS MAD,
BUT, AFTER ALL IT'S NOT THAT BAD.
