Life

Life is a gift we wonder through
Not quite conscious until too true
Most is past we’re almost done
Then finally we see the sun

Too much time wasted no time to spare
Waiting for never we’re almost there
What is past we can’t undo
And now our time is almost through

With what is left no time to waste
Take each moment not in haste
Savior seconds each one a gift
Each moment an eternity not to be missed

So see all that you can see
Be all that you can be
Don’t waste your time in regret like me
What was missed was never to be

So gather life while you still can
You can’t go back where you began
Then just accept that final plan
You can’t escape it…. relax old man
