Poem inspired by a letter I wrote.
Life
This is such a depressing life,
I guess I will have to buy a book,
Not feel that way in pain,
As I write this poem,
I get angry at the world in vain,
As plain as I can see.
My last poem was not appropriate
For anyone to see
I was wrong to let anyone read it,
I can see that is wrong.
I have to be approved by elderly
On how to act at home.
I want to quit life,
Like someone quits a job.
I really shouldn’t be this way,
That’s not the way to act.
When I asked for an opinion,
I always got the facts.
I have to buy a book,
On not crying dramatically.
Being more positive
is harder than it seems.
