Life

They said loving you wasn't easy,
That it was really tough.
But I knew that you were different,
And your love for me was enough.
You had faced your many challenges,
But you were never alone.
And those nights when you felt anger
I knew you didn't want to be done.
No matter how much you had hurt,
Or the tears that you had shed,
You'd continue living on for me
Because you wanted life instead.

August 22, 2014 at 2:22 PM Poetry is something that i've only recently come to love. I found it's an amazing way to get your emotions aross. This poem tugged at my heart strings, and my tear ducts. I love the last line: 'Because you wanted life more.' breathtaking.
