Life

Ah life! All just a humor Much to mock and laugh at Than things more real. O! a fool to strive so hard Much than things yet to come; All thou give And still I strive with another hope. Had I lived then, all in thy will; Had I strike the aim then, all in thy prophecy! Had I die then, all in thy judgment. But what so worth living had thy art That thou fill a charming fate Yet uncertain; If it had been certain then Hath there been curse upon thy art!
