Life
Sometimes you build a wall…
And guard it, so it won’t fall.
That wall can make you feel all by yourself.
Like a toy puppet, with broken strings, sitting on a very dusty shelf.
You breathe air, eat, and sleep.
You can’t climb over the wall, because it is too steep.
A person comes, and you’re just hoping they will notice you at all.
When they pick you up, you never expect to fall.
Sometimes life doesn’t give you what you want or need.
It can be selfish with hatred and greed.
The important thing to remember when falling in,
Is to get up and stand straight again.
