Life

LIFE
Life is nothing
Because we didn’t come here with something
All you see is an illusion
As if you labor under a delusion
As time flies
A man dies
Another is born
While some are gone
Wealth, beauty and power
Fades by the hour
But if I am a nonentity
Why is life such a calamity?
Survival is hard
And the streets are bad
Empires and kingdoms
Rise and fall
But only the truth stands tall
From grass to grace
They take their place
Life is beautiful
And nature is dutiful
Immortality can only be acquire through deed
By helping those in need
