Funny how I went from the energetic Young Man
Always eager to be seen and heard
To the same energetic Young Man
Who now cares less about being seen or heard
Life!

The entity that turns out not to be what we hoped hoped and dreamed for
Funny how we went all the way from waking up to the smell smell of Mama's Jollof rice
To like hating the idea of sun rise
Every day different meals
Now, everyday, different problems
Life!!
Life!!
Very miraculous how I have gone from the Young Man that cares so much about what people will say
To the same Young energetic man who no longer gives a damn about the opinion of people
Right now...
I don't even want to be heard
I don't even want to be seen
In fact, I don't want to be understood
I just want to live to see the next rising of the sun
Solve the problems that can be solved
Return energies that can be returned
Keep putting and doing my best
And just be me on my own in my world
Life!!!
Life's reality indeed
Are beyond theories and assumptions
E no be anybody's mate
Yet, it will teach all of us what we need to know
