Lies of a Siren's Song

I long to see dragons fly Or hear lies of siren's song. Baited clay of magi's curse Myth and verse - it can't be wrong, I think of love between times Of magic rhymes in spaces, The Elfish dances to Fae With old ways in their faces. And nature rebounds with sound, I dare not be found in here But I'm bound by the siren As desiring found my fear. Senses devoid of love and light Agonies plight in rage and strife In that breath when death I sought Angel brought me back to life Kiss at dawn, so sweet and still, The vibrant thrill of one rose, Plucked before the flower fades As the sun light shades repose To see the sun-kissed valley When I can see, dreams come true In dawn's first light, dragons fly Across the sky - I love you.
