Lies Lead To a Bumpy Love Road

It's so easy to ignore
The way our love took a detour
Slowly turning down the road
On a path that's dark and cold
Never talking about issues
That came each day was a misuse
Of our silent hidden words
That were never said or heard
Crying tears all through the night
Smiling in the morning light
Disguising our emotion and turmoil
As feelings started to rise and boil
In both of our hearts and minds
With no courage left to find
A way to figure all this out
Without all the screams and shouts
That were building up inside
No matter how hard we tried
To tell the truth and let it go
Our pride would not let it flow
So we live in pure denial
It is such a bad love style
That we both dare to drive down
Our fake love all over town

Lies sure do lead to a bumpy road to love, I totally agree. I can feel the depth of your emotion; very well-expressed, Sweet Pea! <3
