Don't hurt others by the things you say. If what you have to say can't help without hurting someone ---- Clam Up!! Don't Say it!! Gossip hurts. Think about it this way. Most gossip is just that --- Gossip. And most gossip is Untrue. It's a little bit of fact and a whole lot of fiction. It's a story that has been added to and embellished to make it more interesting. When you spread gossip you are spreading tales. Now where do we usually find a tail? On somethng's rump. Right? So when a tale comes out of your mouth what does that make you?
Hmmm.
Of what good is a lie, not much for sure.
While it may help a little, it destroys much more.
When you tell an untruth you tell more than a lie.
When the truth is found out as it will by and by,
You'll be known as a liar, untrusted, despised,
For you can't trust a liar, they're wolves in disguise.
They prey upon those who have done them no harm.
They lie and deceive to gain favor and charm,
Any and all who can do them some good.
They care not who they hurt as a true friend should;
So tell no untruths and carry no tales,
And you'll have friends aplenty and no cause to bewail.
