Lies and Deceit

The vile creature acquires its corporeal form.
It spread its malicious whispers.
Amongst the innocent and unaware.

It is relentless in its pursuit.
Never a pause or a respite.
from the onslaught of its attacks.

It's victims are stunned and dumb-founded.
Unsure how to defend from such carnage.

It's base demeanor is deceptive.
Deceiving even the most learned.
Thus enabling it to carry on its rampage.

but eventually it,s actions will be known.
And the innocent will gather their senses and pitch-fork.
And hunt down this master of lies and deceit

It cowers in its lair.
A temporary measure to be sure.
Its trail of lies and deceit is found.
Its forked tongue is severed from it's head.
No longer able to lay destruction in its wake.
