Lies
The fallacy of my honesty comes from a foreign part of me
A place where my delusion and digression from reality
Will be the inescapable end of me
A silent shifting of thought shapes my mood
To desperate despair and destructive desire
All coming from the reality that my honesty is nothing but lies
And laden hypocrisy hemmed into the seams of my life
The lies I have woven into the fabric of my existence
Have knitted me a dark black blanket
And now I see them all so clearly
But I fear the cold that would come
Should I remove my blanket of lies
