Lies

They steal all the breath from me
I take all the rest from me
They leave you with some crumbs
I save all my bread money

They call an emergency
Create a sense of urgency
Stealing food since my youth
There is not a cure for me

I’m contagious and infected
I feel lost without connection
I want to eat the fruit
But the branches are out of reaching

I can’t trust the people
They hands raised to the steeple
What happened to humanity
Your ignorance is lethal

I’m bent but not broken
Wanted smoke now I’m choking
The same they tell you to snuff
Is the same that they smoking
