Lies

She told me a lie Just to get by Said she'd be back But that was an act She told me a lie Never told me why I'll get better I swear That's why I'm in my Aunts care She told me a lie I started to cry She was supposed to be Instead my Aunt was with me She told me a lie Looking into my eyes I'll be there for you But I already knew She told me a lie The truth she will never try Dear Mother I say to you good bye I hope you do not cry To my children I will never lie
