Lied There and Stared
Tried to sleep but couldn't
Just layed there and stared
Don't know what I was thinking
Don't know what I was expecting
Constant disrespect I can't stand you none the less
It's me, I let many take advantage of me
What I get for wearing my heart on my sleeve
Just laying down staring
Thinking about the hurt
Wondering what I did to deserve
I'm angry I have the urge
But I'm resisting
But I keep picturing me hitting you
It's so tempting
You're so damaging and selfish
You'll never under why it's come to this
Turned over to other side
There's tears in my eyes
I can't watch anymore
My heart is too sore
It's harder to breathe
You were never there
But just remember I was always there anytime you'd need
So now let me be
