Lie To Me
You keep lying to me like a watch that’s ten minutes behind
Thinking that the tales you tell will somehow get you ‘head’
Lie to me because that’s what you’re good at, admit it
Tell me you love me, because you think I want to hear it
Fool me because you pull the strings and I dance
Lie to me you’ve done if more than once, take a chance
When you said sexy lady you drive me crazy
Did you mean it babe or was it a maybe?
The lies you tell will spin a web around you soon
And I’ll be there like a black widow with a spoon
So you died for me, or was that a lie too?
But you lied so convincingly, I thought it was true
