Listen to poem:

Lickety Split

Like a flash
I was beaten
Caught in the blink of an eye
Knowing not why I was so, so
Easily beaten
Till I saw the chain
You hooked on my behind.

Splutter and stumble
Puffed and spent
Losing the battle
I was hell bent
To win the reprisal
