Liberty

Thinking about you, strains my heart.
How and why did we ever fall apart.
I cherish every memory.
Left here alone, the conclusion of a broken promise.
Sorrow and bloody tears may arise.
These lies were meant to despise.
An angel, a demon, in disguise.
Listening to the word and advice of the wise.
Love is an emotion that cannot be explained.
Broken human, left unthreatened, by obscurity.
Eternal soul of maturity.
You left me here, with my wings exposed, during daylight.
All I can ever become, is another shadow of the night.
Wishing to know, if I will ever see, the volcanic suns, burning light.
