Liar

My trust will shatter and the world will dissolve. And I will stop searching for my family, I give up on my resolve. Because normalcy is not permitted behind these walls. We are sent here to be protected from our family's calls. They drain the promise from our veins. They tell us that our hope is vain. The people that watch us are not benign. They are not here to make sure we’re fine. To turn us in, or turn us away? We feel guilt for our needs in this place we stay. We will always wonder if our family’s patience will grow. Once spring comes and our strength melts with the snow. They lied once again, with greedy wrath. They say we are worth what we came with, which was nothing but the pain we craft.
