Letting the Sun Go Down
Don't let the sun go down on me before I can find Your Way
For in the darkness I cannot see as the senses soon betray
Don't let it go down on me on any one of your given days
But instead may it always be that my lips give such praise
Before the moon can even rise and Your stars cover the sky
Give me the sense to realize and the purpose to always try
So Lord don't let the sun set or even pass over my head
For it is my love I must let not all the other things instead
Before the long shadows are cast and the dusk soon arrives
May I speak to what last making a difference in others lives
Before a day can come to an end before the sparrows sleep
This being my only need that I send as my soul also weeps
So as the moon and stars ascend with the sun now being set
My broken heart can easily mend in the Grace that You beget
No the sun never will go down without giving You just praise
As the Glory of Your Crown so brightens everyone of my days
Isaiah 42:8
I am the LORD: that is my name:
and my glory will I not give to another,
neither my praise to graven images.
Dedicated to all the Unborn in Their fight for Life!
Psalms 22:10
I was cast upon thee from the womb:
thou art my God from my mother's belly.
