Letting Go, Holding On

Contractions will come
Laboring actions are near
Even for life's end

Birth from beginning
Holds no exacting promise
Trial and error

Moving on the path
Silently moving forward
Looking back is hard

Rest is soon needed
Maintaining the stamina
For life's obstacles

Forgiving the past
Requires a steady heart beat
No time for panic

Freedom for being
All that you were meant to be
Is always so close

Time for holding on
Escapes with a little sigh
Letting relief in
