The Melody Sings Poet I do not know?

Letting Go

Letting go is 
hard enough
you don't make it any
easier.

I try and try and
when I finally do
it hurts the 
worst.

Why not make it easy
why not forget about
me as well

I run from you
but you still try
to talk and be with
me. Friends but
nothing more.

The feelings I had
are now gone.
What's the point in loving
someone who will never love
you back

Holding on. Bearing 
through it. You have given me 
no other choice
but to erase you
of my mind completley.

But I can't. I never can
and never will.
I love you but you don't 
love me. This is
why I need to 
learn how to let go!
