Letting Go

 It hung on all summer
 Enjoying the balmy breeze
 It soaked up the rain
and felt so much at ease

Summer was coming to an end
Soon it would be time to go
 It would join the trend
and sail away as the winds blow

A gust of wind came by
It lost its grip and started to fly
It pirouetted as it came down
 Landing gently on the ground

Hello Joseph, a gentle wisdom in the way you follow that leaf through its quiet surrender with no drama, just the natural moment when holding on becomes letting go. That release can be its own kind of grace. Winter Blessings, Joseph Daniel
