Letting Go

If it comes, take it with open arms
Let it fill you with joy and calm
Embrace the moment, seize the day
For who knows how long it will stay?

But if it goes, let it drift away
Don't hold on, don't beg it to stay
For sometimes things are meant to end
To teach us lessons and help us mend

It may hurt to let go of what we love
But we must trust in fate above
For what's meant for us will come back around
And in the meantime, let's not be bound

By the past or what we can't control
Let's focus on what's within our goal
To live in the present, be grateful and free
And trust that the future holds what's meant to be.
