Letting Go
Memories of yesterdays haunt me
Fear runs through my mind
I seek only happiness
But this I cannot find
Eternal bliss
Temptations thrown in my way
I fight the demons that haunt me
Make them go away
With a heart to big
A handful of dreams
Alone is where I must stay
Forever it seems
Damaged by fear
Scarred by the past
Seeking only to sleep
Forever at last
A breathe my last breath
Broken ribs feel no pain
Nothing but a bruised body
