Letters of a Restless Soul
I wake before the sun
While the city sleeps
The moon awaits my call
And the night is there to greet
My soul is always restless
My heart is known to roar
And my mind always at peace
With golden wings at my door.
The pen appears in palm
Behold a woman with vision
My words hang in the stars
I pick them with precision.
So what shall it be today?
Flaws concealed with make-up
My love thats always been cosmic, or
the myth of an unscathed break up
I open my mind to the sky,
Watch the clouds transform absently
There is no way I am not from a distant star
or the queen of a couple galaxies
And somehow I made it here
To be another precious pearl
My dreams are a good indicator
I see colors not of this world
And the love has always been cosmic
You can tell because its chaotic
A wild heart cannot be tamed
Aflamed when it feels exotic.
Maybe the ocean has the answer
When my queries begin to surface
Diving to unimaginable depths
While figuring out my purpose
Then sometimes I get distracted
And I cant help but fold
When they move my mind in altitudes
Or simply speak to me in prose.
Running wild at night
Burning in cold and heat
Comet turned meteorite
Then following my own heartbeat
With every little achievement
I rewrite every goal
Its enough to make me high on life
And cure the restlessness of my soul.
As soon I hear the birds
I slowly close my eyes
The jaunt of the night comes to an end
And the sun begins to rise
