You give I take
I give you take
Moments we make
Those that build and those that
break
Moments accurately remembered
with dates
Whatever happened was fate
Thankful I opened that gate
Flood that flowed in, that made
love out of hate
Never for once did I have to use
my good side as bait
Because you held on to all of me
before it was too late
Romeo died for love, Juliet died for
love, whatever the case
I appreciate you here and now
before the whole community, town
or state
Wishing to never be Romeo or
Juliet to you, but Me
Wishing for the love we have to
never die, but to live free
Wishing that our fates will always
let our love be
You complete my world and life
You are my destiny
You give I take
I give you take
In every moment we put our hearts
at stake
We trust that what we give each
other neither one will break
I know that I can count on you
Your arms will catch my fall
You always were and will be, my
everything, my all
I know I can commit to you, as you
commit to me
I am grateful to know your soul
Grateful to experience this
ultimate trust
Looking back you are the joy
within my every memory.
