Letter To the Lord
Dear Lord.
I’ve laughed and loved
I’ve worked and played
I’ve suffered through heartache
Through pleasure and pain
I’ve battled with demons
I’ve cried with some saints
I’ve begged for forgiveness
I’ve listed complaints
I’ve dropped you a line
I fell to my knees
I’ve cursed you in anger
I’ve asked for some peace
I plead for your time
The name’s Billy Hitz
And please let me know
That you really exist
