Letter To My Love

LETTER TO MY LOVE

My Dear Love,
The day you gave your love to me
that's when I really knew
what happiness was all about
and love could be so true.

You listen closely when I speak
you share your thoughts with me
you show an interest in my work
with you I feel so free.

I was married for many years
and still I never felt
these strange feelings I'm having now
that's making my heart melt.

The looks you give, the things you say
the songs you sing to me
I never thought I would receive
they were just fantasy.

I want to feel your heart beat
when your body's next to mine
I want to share your kisses,
on each other we will dine.

I want to spend my life with you
and never with another
I want to wake up by your side
today and every other.

My love, what I'm trying to do
is tell you how I feel
and let you know without a doubt
that what we feel is real.
