Letter To Daddy

Dear Daddy,
You had to leave and I don't know why
All I want to do is cry
My heart is broken I miss you so
Oh Daddy oh Daddy why did you have to go
They say you're now in a better place
But I no longer see your face
I hope you're looking down on me
I'm trying to make you proud can't you see
I miss your smile and the gentle touch of your hand
Your kind words and the way you would always understand
When I go will I be with you
              Hopefully that is true
But right now all I have to say
Daddy oh Daddy why did you go away
My heart is broken and I miss you so
                                          Love,
                                                 Your Little Girl

Thank you for your comment. I'm sure he is. He always enjoyed my writing and was one of the only people I used to show them to.
