Letter To a Good Friend
A LETTER TO A GOOD FRIEND
Mathe Karen
If these words are never said, better no man has ever lived to say them at all
But that which are words which can be said now and later not forgotten
If these words are not as they should sound, better know that I’m of old
If time should pass me by without saying hello, surely I’m soon to be forgotten
If growing old makes time flow slow, then life was spend alone in regret
Surely these words could not have been said earlier, for they could have been
With no wisdom to have learned to say them as they should be said as now
If I never say hello like I used to, just know I’m already old to say much
If my voice never sound like it used to be, know I’m already a step before the next life
If these hands never touch and feel the same, I sure do know all is well
If by this time I ask the questions of old, I surely lived time passed my memory
If the sky no longer shines its right bright, I sure did see the sun
By this time rest assured it’s just me in a memory I would not take back
Surely if you are reading this, time has passed to regret, but better know
Life has its own times to change what time has changed
Only one place to never grow old in my old age
Where no regret, but joy to have made it
But if I left anything behind, surely no one regrets
My LORD JESUS CHRIST AWAIT….welcome Faithful servant.
