Letter To a Fugitive

Letter To a Fugitive

Hope this finds you well
And not in burning Hell:

Law is no man's enemy
Police knows no infamy,

It is a trusted Friend
By you till to the end...

of the tightening tether
on your neck's leather

until you stop on track
to inevitably payback!

If the letter gets to you,
Reply me will you do!

I'll find you by the smell
And, I'll get you I can tell!

I actually started being interested in reading thrillers in 1986 when by chance I stumbled on Agatha Christie's investigative novels. The subject of law, peace, happiness, etc. form a leitmotif in most of my writ. Thanks once again. Please go through my poems and share your views. Regards, JM
