LET'S TANGO

In a moment’s awareness, You gently stepped. Held my hand, held my breath--- I took to resolve to dance with You, In silence tap territories anew. A galaxy of stars, passed the Milky Way You held my hands as we sway. My being no longer belongs to me. You being in control, I cease to be. As my eyes nestle in dreams, You swing me round, in starry beams Where time melts in seasoned crests My feet uplifted, my heart in zest. Open to all the moves you make, I, like a feather, softly shake--- All the pain that I ever held, No longer in memory ever cradled. In your gaze I glimpse to view The I, I thought, the I, anew. In feverish surrender I bend aside, Tapping my feet, over life’s tide. Events and dreams blur as I Gaze at You without a sigh, Nestled in love as You sweep, Me in Eternity, my heart You keep.
