Lets Meet Him At the Mercy Seat

Let's Meet Him At the Mercy Seat "Let us go to his dwelling place; let us worship at his footstool- arise, O LORD, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might.” Psa 132: 7-8 Let’s go into God’s tabernacle Let us worship at His footstool Let’s meet Him at the Mercy Seat Where His great strength rules Our priest is clothed with righteousness He intercedes for us Saved by His blood Shed on a cruel Roman cross. At the glorious Mercy Seat Angels praise and worship Governed by the contents Intercession by our Lordship A scene of great beauty Such glory in this place God’s love and mercy His justifying grace. Of all the symbols In God’s sanctuary of three parts In the Holy of Holies His power He imparts This is the place of atonement The full plan of salvation Through our Lord and Savior His priestly meditation. Let’s meet Him at the Mercy Seat Worship our King Praise, honor and glory Atonement He brings Separated by sin Now restored by the blood Through the true sacrifice Of our loving God. © Copyright 2008-2012 Maureen LeFanue www.maureenlefanue.com
