Lets just be together

The opposite of addiction is connection
Riptide provides a strong direction

Gathering us up and bringing us along with a pull so strong

It took us a long time to get here
both of us a bit worse for the wear

and now that we are near we won't ever let go

We were always each others

The bond we made was strong
and we could never go wrong 
The bindings now sprinkled with wisdom and experience

The love delightful and delirium
Why did we wait so long we ask?
Because neither of us could risk what we had for what might be

And now we can't risk what we have 

The pull to strong
the day to long
and we both need, want and desire the other freely

Lets just be together
