Lethal Injection

afloat in stupor, his mind falters, with poisoned blood in every vein, he aches to recall what to forget, forgets what to remember in vain; though the torpor dulls his senses, defiantly he sneers with meanness and effrontery to the authorities now murdering him, blind Justice!
