Let Your Path Lead Back To Me

Listen to my bitter tears cascading down my face.
Read my thoughts so clearly till they vanish with no trace.

You could ease my restless heart - quiet my quaking fears.
Wrap me up inside your life as you've done all these years.

The music has not stopped so dip me in another dance.
Love still colors my soul so let's not lose this chance.

I know you're drawn to other fields filled up with lovely blooms.
But please don't leave me wafting 'round inside my lonely rooms.

Earth in shadows leaves me here to find some kind of mending.
Tell me words I need to hear drenched in the love you're sending.

I'm holding on till your path leads you back darling to me.
Your dusty journey to my door will surely set me free.
