Let Your Mind Now Thrive

With my words I paint a scene
Vivid, vibrant and pristine
Allowing eyes to read and see
Allowing minds to dream.

Am I a painter? Oh, that’s not so.
I only wish to let you know
My feelings are alive, even though
They may not be what they seem.

Think not the words to all be fake
But let the words to help you take
A piece of me, to let me make
You feel that you’re alive.

So here I sit and as I write
I think of all who read tonight
I send you thoughts, to shine some light
And let your mind now thrive.
