You’ve got to let your hair down 
When the weekend comes around
Get together with your friends
To party to the sounds
Everyone’s gonna be dancing
Down at the club tonight 
You can lose yourself in the rhythm
Yeah’ have a real good time



So come on let your hair down
The weekends come around
Come on let your hair down
Are you ready to paint the town


Don’t take life too seriously 
Everybody needs a break
Why don’t you let your hair down
And dance the night away
Be the life and soul of the party 
Relax and have some fun
You’ve got to let your hair down now
The working week is done

Boys are you feeling funky now


Music brings people together
From different walks of life
You don’t have to get drunk
To enjoy yourself tonight


Just forget about your life style
Dance your cares away
You’ve got to let your hair down now
Leave work to another day
There’s something in the atmosphere
It’s the joy of Friday night 
We’re gonna bring the house down yeah’
With our dance moves tonight
