Let Us Walk the Talk

Let us walk the talk, Be true, honest and deep; Make no promises That we ourselves cannot keep. Practice what we preach, As parents and elders should show; Because the kids imitate them, As the youth gradually grow. Teaching by example Is effective though made mild; For what we do is weighed right In the eyes of a little child. Let us keep our words That we tell to youngsters; Or else they lose trust in us, Even on serious matters. Match declaration with deed, As faith must be coupled with works; Listen and pay attention to the line: 'Action speaks louder than words'. Stand to be good role models, Wearing probity and positive outlook; Both old and young will admire us, Let us walk the talk.
