Let Them See You

I make mistakes.
Surprise!!!!
I'm not perfect.
And, the mistakes that I make,
never go unchecked.
But, I pray that they'll
overlook my flaws,
and see past the exterior,
to WHO graces the interior.
FATHER, please...
Just let them see YOU in me.
Let it be YOUR voice,
in the words that I speak.
And, help me to share YOUR love,
when havoc wreaks!
Please, just let them see you in me.
And, I know that,
I'm not the best spokesperson.
And, I pray that my presence,
doesn't make their situation worsen.
Because the last thing I wanna do,
is make anyone feel uncertain!
And, I ask YOU GOD, please,
pull down the curtain,
so that they can see YOU in me!
