Let the White Doves Fly

Let the white doves fly

Stop the clocks
Turn the computers off
Wear your Sunday best
It's time for mourning

Let the white doves fly
No more home here
At 2:45 he
Took his last breath

See the rain falling down
It brings new life and hope
The clouds in the sky
Show Heaven's emotions

Angels telling me that
You are resting
They know we're saddened
By your passing

Tears falling down
Like that rain
Wishing I
Could see you again

No more talk
Only prayers
Hope you rest in peace
With God's love and care

Life goes on
The Universe keeps growing
But the place you filled
Is a void that's broken

Like the space in my heart
Heavy and cold
Trying to comprehend
Life without your soul

In time we may overcome
In time we may heal our hearts
But forever we'll love you
Our friend in the stars
