Let the River Remain Mild

J-ust let March thirteenth
O-pen the day with light;
N-ight cold chill is over,
N-ew dawn sets things
A-right.

S-un early Monday morn
A-ims to warm your heart;
R-ise of the beacon begins,
G-ray haze and dusk depart.
A-llow not the tide to get high, let not the crocodile turn wild;
N-ever ignore the running water, let the river remain mild.
