Let the Light In

as i sit here in my misery
the suns rays peek thru
the blinds. i recoil within
myself, i scream thru
my head let the light in,
its time to change, up
lift yourself, dont be
happy when it rains and
the strong winds of winter.
long for those warm months
of pleasure. Dont hold this
wall up anymore, look
heres your chance, open
the blind soak up the sun
and feel alive.
