Let the Holy Spirit
There is nothing in this world that I need as much
but to feel Jehovah's heavenly touch
for Him to alight upon my soul
to bask in His mercy and graceful glow
let the Holy Spirit grant me the wisdom to see
to better discern this world around me
I pray to Jehovah in all His might
I look up to Jehovah for spiritual insight
every day I praise Him and I can attest
that the gifts He has given to me have been blessed
let the Holy Spirit give me an unselfish love to impart
and to my fellow man I will open my heart
I kneel to Jehovah in my daily supplication
I pray to Jehovah in righteous dedication
I worship unto Him and always put Him first
my need for Him has become an unending thirst
let the Holy Spirit bestow upon me a purpose in life
and teach me to walk in the ways of Jesus Christ
I thank The Lord for being my king
I know that with Him I can do anything
and through his Word I do believe
there's nothing that I can not conceive, perceive or achieve
let the Holy Spirit bless me with an inner light
to walk by faith and not by sight
