Let the Cat Out of the Bag...

When you have a secret, it should never be told, Cause you made a promise that you must uphold; Promising never to utter a word, Not one single syllable to ever be heard; And telling that secret is like breaking a tie, It is even worse than telling a lie; Once you let the cat out of the bag, you can’t win, Cause letting it out is easier than putting it back in!

Cut one, Tirzah. I like the way you took the phrase you chose and worked it into a meaningful poem. Don't EVER really try to put a cat in a bag. Vet once suggested putting my cat in a pillowcase (with air holes) because I didn't have a carrying case. Still have the scars from that attempt. Best wishes in the contest! Love, Carolyn
