Let Me Suffer No Longer

The teachers are teaching,
The principal- preaching.

The halls buzz with whispers,
The gym with bag zippers.

The children are sleeping- in the middle of class,
Hoping the day will breeze by real fast.

The printers are hummin',
The homework keeps comin'!

The clocks ticks by slow,
We all gotta go...

The lectures wont end,
Nobody's listening- it's just pretend!

The final bell sounds- cheers all around,
And at last the day has found its bound.
