LET ME GO

In the midst or whatever
is binding me in this life
I know every chain can be broken
In the presence of my Lord Christ

let me go
allow my worship to transcend and transform
let me go
allow my praise to redeem and reform

I now see it matters not
my situation nor condition
God will come in to sift, shift
and reposition

let me go
allow my worship to transcend and transform
let me go
allow my praise to redeem and reform

It's not enough to show up in church
dressed to the nines
It's my praise and worship that allows God
to rest in my mind
for God has the power
to place me on higher ground
God has the power to remove
whatever is holding me down

let me go
allow my worship to transcend and transform
let me go
allow my praise to redeem and reform

no longer will I allow my situation to rule
for by Jesus I've been spiritually schooled

let me go
allow my worship to transcend and transform
let me go
allow my praise to redeem and reform

no longer will I internalize
and cry woe is me
for I've been transformed by God's presence
for all to see

let me go
allow my worship to transcendent and transform
let me go
allow my praise to redeem and reform

let me go
allow my worship to transcend and transform
let me go
allow my praise to redeem and reform
