Let Me Dream

19,Sept. 2015 5:59 PM

Let me dream a beautiful thing
In land where my voice really can sing

Let me dream of peace and the shadowless light
Of a land where darkness has no right

Let me dream of love and kindness unbound
Where everyone are friends and hatred not found

Let me dream of those who live and not just exist
Who create and not destroy and share and not resist

Let me dream oh let me dream because societies reality is chaotic and lost
Evil flourishes and grows and righteousness is tossed

Father forgive me for my negative view
forgive me for loosing my peace in you

Gather my scattered faith once more
my love for others please restore

Before my heart gets too hard and cold
before I die bitter and old
